Thank you, dennis speigel... The merger of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and Six Flags has created a colossal amusement park operator with 42 parks under its umbrella. This significant consolidation brings various strategic opportunities, particularly in the realm of ride management and allocation. One intriguing aspect of this merger is the potential to move rides between parks to navigate obstacles such as planning permits or to enhance flexibility in annual capital plans. However, this strategy is not without its both pros and cons.
