If only the US had legislation like Bermuda does when it comes to fraud...Bermuda Criminal Code Act 1907 Section 352Liability of company officers for certain offences by company: 1) Where an offence committed by a body corporate under section 345, 347 or 351 is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate, or any person who was purporting to act in any such capacity, he as well as the body corporate shall be guilty of that offence, and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly. 2) Where the affairs of a body corporate are managed by its members, this section shall apply in relation to the acts and defaults of a member in connection with his functions of management as if he were a director of the body corporate. So if a company knowing obtains property by deception, does something to show they permanently want to deprive the other of their property or obtains pecuniary advantage by deception, or false accounting...THEN ALL... ALL.... of the company's officers become CRIMINALLY LIABLE for the company's actions, with the assumption being that they all knew or should have known that such FRAUD was taking place...IF ONLY...the United States had something like they have in Bermuda...

Good question...better question...When was the last time they put out content that was beneficial to the image/plight of Black Americans specifically? You cant get mad that tokens are doing their jobs as tokens. That obedient studio pets are being...obedient...In the case of Eddie Murphy you would have to go back to the 90's for quasi good content portraying Black Americans in a good light and even then it was pandering to Cosby-esque fantasies of black exception-alism; same with Will Smith, who is only recently dabbling in that content pool for Oscar bait.If Will Smith or Eddie Murphy had a Black American Director...honestly...what could they teach them?, to cashout while not being readily identified as a sellout? --that is the better question...but I understand the surface frustration.

The future of YouTube is this. Instead of having racist people like Tommy Sotomayor advocating for the death of Black Americans on a monetized video and keeping his monetized platform for 6 months after, the future of YouTube in my opinion is going to be "personalized" AI content that is trained on psychology and sales tactics to tailor product placement inside the content itself.Once they and other social media platforms lose Section 230 protections, which they eventually will, the only content they will serve is self generated sanitized AI content with licensed permission to use brand IP.But think of it, you can have Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson, pausing an episode of Agents of Shield season 12 to drink a Pepsi, have a dialogue about how Tony Robbins's new book helped them in their personal lives, and remind you to get your vaccination, then continue with the plot...but that's my content and for you they are drinking a Dr Pepper, speaking about reverse mortgages while eating a Big Mac.That is the dys...I mean Utopian future that awaits. Social control...marketing and tailored narratives. Went through a break up...an AI Generated movie just became available to help you shuck those tears and also, remind you to buy a specific brand of razor to ensure you don't have to deal with those pesky razor bumps, and tackle the new challenges in your life with a new medication, with ...a few side affects,, and the plucky actor/actress?...just so happens to have your voice and face...Black Mirror writers where are you?

Yemi Akisanya you should not have been a part of this documentary. America has 3 racial castes. White, Non-White, and Black. You as an African are often MISTAKEN as a Black person (racial caste), a person who Descends from American Slaves, but you are not. You are filed as Non White in America, not Black. You have a passport. You have sovereign nation to which you can return. That sovereign nation has diplomatic relationships with all nations in the modern world including the United States. What you experience is xenophobia; xenophobia and Racism are kissing cousins, but the key difference is WHEN you correct someone to say you are from Nigeria, because they know your family doesn't have a history of being tortured and killed and enslaved for multiple generations, they know you do not have the same potential hatred and vitrail that could be directed their way for them potentially propping up and supporting and their ancestors participating in this country's Racially Stratified Caste System.Xenophobia is a result of you and/or your parents CHOOSING to bring you to a former slavocracy that still operates subtly as such (pre-Trump). You knew there were slaves here. You knew or should have know there was still a caste system here so largely the xenophobia you experience is a choice, one your passport and a flight can solve, one your compensation is enough for you to endure.Racism is a multigenerational experience. One that I cannot even begin to explain to you as an African. I am tired of Africans and Caribbeans hiding in Blackness when you have the PRIVILEGE of NOT having a racial caste system that PUTS you in a caste kicking and screaming. It is a result of the commodification of Black American struggle that makes it popular to claim Blackness but this was an open air prison LONG BEFORE GAZA!! And how we see it, is that visitors to the prison come in on a hall pass and on a voluntary basis...put on the prisoner uniforms, play nice with the guards, with their pass easily displayed, and all the while with the permission to leave whenever they choose. Now you choose to make a documentary about the prison conditions? That would be laughable wouldn't?The fact that a company choose you, being that you are an African, to lead any DEI effort, is proof of systemic racism and tokenism, especially when they could have chosen an Black American. Can I go to Nigeria and lead a DEI effort for a company based on my melanin and a few years in Nigeria? I think not!Again most African Diaspora Caribbean nations are post racial caste, class based societies but still sovereign nations practicing self determinism dealing with colonialism...you should be PROUD of that. You should be proud there are NO Black Racial Castes in your country, that there isn't a White Caste subjugating you through systemic and institutional processes. Most African nations (w/ exception to South Africa) are Tribally Stratified Caste Systems.https://lnkd.in/epc3BRiT

Waymo just curious...had you all killed someone...then what? National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA did you all sign off on this? California Highway Patrol did anyone get a ticket for this? Would they? Would the company? The prices are set as a means of deterrence so shouldn't the ticket value be $4500, $10,000 or do they get the same $180 fine? How does this work...I would rather you all figure out the liability and standards before someone gets ran over or gets into a headon collision. smh!!
