OU football has landed two players out of the spring transfer portal.
The transfer portal window was open from April 16 to April 30.Players can still choose their destination or return to their school after that date, their name just had to be entered into the database by April 30.

Damonic Williams, defensive lineman, TCU
TCU defensive lineman Damonic Williams announced his intentions to play for the Sooners on Thursday.
At 6-foot-2, 320 pounds, Williams has totaled 60 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in his career. He appeared in 26 games in two seasons with the Horned Frogs. Williams was listed as the third highest-rated defensive line prospect uncommitted in the portal, per 247Sports’transfer portal rankings.
He visited LSU, Missouri and Texas before settling on OU.
General Booty, quarterback
Quarterback General Booty has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
The redshirt junior transferred to OU from Tyler Junior College in 2022. Booty will be remembered for his NIL deals, including releasing an underwear collection and launching "The General's Crimson Cream" with the Crimson and Cream Collective.
His two appearances with the Sooners came during 2023's season opener against Arkansas State and 2022's loss at TCU.
Gavin Freeman, wide receiver
Wide receiver Gavin Freeman is entering the transfer portal, he announced Tuesday night.
The junior appeared in 26 games in two seasons at OU. He primarily served as one of the Sooners' punt returners.
Freeman caught 22 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown and will be remembered by Oklahoma fans for his 46-yard touchdown that came on his first career touch in the 2022 season opener against UTEP.
Jasiah Wagoner, cornerback
Sophom*ore cornerback Jasiah Wagoner is entering the transfer portal, per a report from 247Sports.
Wagoner missed much of the first half of the 2023 season due to injury. He appeared in seven games.
Wagoner announced his commitment to California on April 27.
Branson Hickman, offensive center, SMU
Former SMU offensive lineman Branson Hickman committed to transfer to Oklahoma on Sunday, he told On3.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound offensive lineman was the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in 247Sports' portal ranking available during the spring portal window. Hickman started 33 career games with the Mustangs and was selected as an All-AAC selection in 2023.
Hickman visited Norman during the Sooners' spring game on Saturday.
Justin Harrington, defensive back
Sixth-year defensive back Justin Harrington intends to enter the transfer portal, per reports on April 19.
Harrington spent four seasons with OU. He started in two of his 19 appearances during that time and recorded 29 total tackles and two interceptions.
With the loss of Harrington, OU must look for others to step up at the cheetah position. That includes players such as Kendel Dolby, Dasan McCullough and Peyton Bowen.
Reed DeQuasie, linebacker
Redshirt freshman linebacker Reed DeQuasie announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on April 17.
The nephew of former OU linebacker Brent DeQuasie and former Carl Albert High School standout appeared in three games in 2023. The depth of the Sooners' linebacker room made it increasingly unlikely DeQuaise would see playing time in 2024.
Shane Whitter, linebacker
Redshirt senior linebacker Shane Whitter announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on April 16.
Whitter total 48 tackles in 39 games over four seasons at OU. With the Sooners' increased depth at linebacker, it was becoming more and more unlikely Whitter was going to play in 2024.
“With gratitude, I’m entering the transfer portal as a Grad Transfer for my final 2 years of eligibility,”Whitter wrote on X. “While I’m excited for the journey ahead, Oklahoma will always hold a special place in my heart. Boomer!”
Hayden Bray, tight end
Redshirt junior tight end Hayden Bray announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on April 16.
The former defensive line recruit from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, converted to tight end and made his lone appearance in an OU uniform against Tulsa in 2023. He is entering the portal as a graduate transfer with two to three years of eligibility remaining.
"I would like to thank Sooner nation for their love and support," Bray wrote on X. "I also would like to thank (head coach Brent Venables), (tight ends coach Joe Jon Finley) and (strength coach Jerry Schmidt) for their life-changing wisdom."
Jermayne Lole, defensive lineman, Louisville (Flipped to Texas)
Former Louisville defensive lineman Jermayne Lole committed to Oklahoma on April 22 but flipped his pledge to Texas on May 9.
